"Caplin Cares for a Cause" Donates to Martha's Table

03.08.2018

"Caplin Cares for a Cause" raised almost $500 for Martha’s Table during Caplin & Drysdale's first quarter fundraiser. For over 37 years, Martha's Table has provided support to the D.C. community through programs focused on education, food access, and the overall community. The education programs provided by Martha's Table concentrate on early childhood education, out of school time, and family engagement. While the food access programs work to educate and ensure fresh and healthy food are available for children and families to choose from, some of the food access programs overlap with the community programs including Martha's Markets and McKenna's Wagon, which supplies no-cost groceries and warm meals to residents in need. Martha's Outlet is another community program that provides free, high-quality clothing, shoes, linens, and household furnishings to individuals and families in need. Martha's Outlet is supported by Martha's Outfitters which is  a community thrift store where nothing is over $20.
