David Rosenbloom Comments: Delays Fuel Speculation About Regulatory Future

Although the recent delay of some tax regulations may have been the predictable result of taxpayer complaints, the deferrals could also be signaling the start of a stronger response to the Trump administration’s effort to decrease regulatory burdens, observers told Tax Analysts.

Former Treasury international tax counsel H. David Rosenbloom of Caplin & Drysdale, Chtd. said he was “reasonably confident” the delays were not routine and likely a direct result of the executive orders.
